“Sympathetic and very thorough”

When I first saw Mr Obakponovwe I had complicated issues with arthritis and damage to my hip following a fall, that I was in so much pain that my daughter had to push me into the first consultation appointment in a wheelchair. Mr Obak was immediately sympathetic and very thorough in his physical examination, and analysis of my scans and medical history. He has a very reassuring and cheerful manner and put me at ease from the start. He performed a total hip replacement 3 weeks later and it’s a testament to his skill that I was able to drive myself to my follow up appointment 6 weeks later and walk into clinic unaided without even the need for a stick. Post – op Mr Obak was very diligent and visited me every day to check my progress whilst in hospital.
